I am super excited! A Whole Foods will be opening in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach in early 2013!
According to an article in The Virginian Pilot today, the new Whole Foods will be twice the size of Fresh Market and three times the size of Trader Joe’s!
I have heard so many locals tell me about trips up to the Richmond Whole Foods to take advantage of the deals and natural products available. I’m told there are great prices throughout the store as well as Whole Foods coupons to save even more!
I am a huge Trader Joe’s fan, so I’ll now have to stores to shop at when I make a trip to the beach to each month.
Do you shop at Whole Foods or are you as excited as I am for the new store?

I’m VERY excited that Whole Foods is coming to the Beach! When I lived in California I had a Whole Foods two doors done from my office. They had a deli, and I would often walk over there for lunch and/or shopping. I am also very proud of the Economic Development department at the City of Virginia Beach; I know for a fact that they “courted” Whole Foods for several years and it finally paid off! Way to go!!!

I hear all the time people saying they moved from a location that had a Whole Foods and were so disappointed that we don’t have one in Hampton Roads. I’m also very happy with VA Beach for their courting efforts over the past few years 🙂
