I love a dinner made from just a few simple ingredients that can be tossed in the crock pot in 5 minutes! This crock pot chicken and noodles is one of those easy recipes.
Toss everything in except noodles in the morning, then add them when its almost ready before serving. Add a green veggie and you will be sitting down to a hot, hearty, delicious and filling meal within 45 minutes of walking in the door!
Crock Pot Chicken and Noodles:
Ingredients:
2-3 large chicken breasts
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
4 Tbsp. butter
2 stalks of celery
1 tsp. Garlic salt
1 tsp. Celery salt
½ tsp. pepper
½ cup sour cream
3 cups uncooked egg noodles
Directions:
- Finely dice celery.
- Place chicken, broth, butter, celery, garlic and celery salt in crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4-5 hours.
- Shred chicken, using two forks to pull it apart.
- Add uncooked egg noodles and cook for another 45 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Add in sour cream, serve and Enjoy!

Do you stir in the sour cream at the end? Or do you add it in the beginning?
