BUT Busch Gardens and Water Country have a new offer for Military families for 2018 called the Military Passport. First, you need to get your offer online through ID.me – you can’t get the offer at the park!!!
The pass includes Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Water Country USA, and Christmas Town during the 2018 operating season. + includes complimentary general parking. It does NOT include any other pass membership benefits.
The price is $99 but will likely increase as we get closer to the season. The current sale price of the new basic membership is $120 and only has 50% off parking plus has blackout dates. If you’re military and want to visit more often than just having your free pass, this is a good offer. Again, you don’t get the other benefits such as in-park discounts.
Any United States Active-Duty Military*, Activated or Drilling Reservist, or National Guardsman currently serving is eligible for our Active-Duty Military offers. This includes Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.
Active-Duty Military can get this offer online through ID.me or through their MWR Office. Offer is only valid at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Water Country USA and Busch Gardens Williamsburg Christmas Town. Does not include discounts or any Membership benefits other than admission and General Parking. Inactive, Standby and Retired Reserve Members, Military Retirees, U.S. Merchant Marine and Civilian Department of Defense Workers are ineligible for this offer. my husband did 22 years in the Active Army. So we do not get free or discounted tickets????

My husband works for the Dept of defense and has been away from our family, three little girls, since Thanksgiving. He has been able to come home one weekend a month. We are finally able to go on a vacation to Virginia together from Connecticut. Because he is a civilian being contracted out by the department of defense, a position he has had for 10 years we cannot get this offer . He works very hard building and designing military aircraft and is away from his family the majority of the year.
