Who doesn’t love a fun party bunting banner? When you whip up this banner you will have an instant party on your hands. Drape it from your mantel or entryway for an instant pop of color and charm. It is the perfect decorative item if you are short on space and cash.
Supplies Needed:
Cupcake cups in Various sizes, colors
Ribbon or string
Craft glue. A glue stick is perfect for this job if you have one on hand!
Directions:
1. First, you will want to decide what type of pattern you want to make with your cups. Do you want an AB pattern? Or do you want to switch it up a little more and do something more complicated? Either way, lay out your cups to reflect this pattern.
2. Next, fold each cup in half and press it flat. You will want to create almost a clam shell shape with each cup.
3. Cut the string or ribbon of your choice to the length of your choice. The length of course will depend on how much space you need for this banner to cover.
4. Now, run the string through each fold in a way so that the cupcake cup is hanging over the string.
5. The cupcake cup will now need to be secured into place, as you don’t want it falling off the string. To do this, simply add a dab of glue to the flap of paper and press together firmly.
There you have it! Once your cupcake cups are dry you can now string your banner up wherever you see fit. It is the perfect Halloween look for less.
Total Cost = $2
(assuming you already have a glue stick or craft glue)

When fall rolls around we enjoy the splendor of the fall leaves, the smell of wood burning in fireplaces, and the bright orange gourds known as pumpkins. Traditionally speaking, we associated the pumpkin with Halloween; however, more people are learning that pumpkin is not only for chasing the bad spirits away, but for cooking and baking as well.
Here are some pumpkin recipes that I hope you enjoy!

Do you have an empty mantel or entryway that could use some sprucing up?
If you are looking for a way to add some Halloween charm to your home for less, this Going Batty Bat Banner is perfect. It only takes minutes to make, and you can create one for around $2. All you need to do is make a quick trip to your local dollar store and you are ready to roll.
Take a peek below at how you too can go batty and create this fun Going Batty Bat Banner!
Supplies Needed:
Package of black bat cut outs
Halloween Ribbon
Hot glue and glue gun
Scissors
All of the above items can be found at your local Dollar Tree store. Just look in the Halloween décor aisles and craft supply aisle.
Directions:
1. You will want to begin by measuring out about 3 feet of ribbon. Cut. You may alter this length based on the size banner you want to make.
2. Lay out the bat cut outs. You will notice there are three different varieties. You now need to decide what pattern you want to place your bats in.
3. Once you decide, it is time to start gluing. Place a dab of glue on the back of each bat and press it firmly to the ribbon. You can angle the bats if you wish for a flying look!
4. When your bats are dry, you can now hang the banner any place you wish. These banners look cute draped on mantels, in doorways, or even just on the wall. A little piece of tape or a push pin is all you need to secure it.
This dollar store DIY project is so easy, even the kiddos can get in on the action and help you. It is a simple and inexpensive craft that is perfect for giving your home a little extra spookiness for less. So head to your Dollar Tree store and grab the supplies you need to get crafting!

While not everyone is a fan of spiders, I do think everyone can agree these Spooky Sparkle Spiders are pretty adorable. With just a few dollar store supplies, you can make your own batch of Spooky Sparkle Spiders to adorn your house. Halloween just would not be the same without these creepy crawlies, so take a look below at how to make your own.
Supplies Needed:
Package of Styrofoam craft balls
Craft glue
Fine Glitter
Pipe cleaners
Googly eyes
Hot glue and glue gun
Dollar Tree carries all of the items listed above. You will find all of these supplies in the crafting aisle of the store.
Directions:
1. First, pick two Styrofoam balls of different sizes. One will be the head and the other will act as the body. Apply a generous dab of hot glue to the smaller ball and press it to the larger one. Hold it in place for one minute until it adheres.
2. Once dry, use your finger to apply craft glue to the entire head and body of the spider. You want to make sure you coat the entire piece.
3. Hold the spider over a paper towel with one hand, and with the opposite hand sprinkle on the fine craft glitter generously.
4. Once the spider is covered, set it aside to dry.
5. When your spider body is dry, you can then glue on the googly eyes and attach the legs. To attach the legs, cut eight sections of pipe cleaner and just poke it into the side of the body. Adjust the legs as needed to make the spider able to stand on its own.
You are now all ready to display your Spooky Sparkle Spiders! You can place them on a shelf, on a desktop, or anywhere that can use a little Halloween glitter and glam. You will have plenty of supplies leftover to make several spiders, so why not create a whole family? These are one kind of spider you will love having around!
Total Cost = $4
(assuming you already have craft glue and a glue gun w/ glue sticks)
