I asked you what you wanted from The Coupon Challenge, and I received so many responses! Thank you! Email seemed to be the method of choice here, so you can’t see all the responses on the post. I greatly appreciated the feedback! I know how busy everyone is! I smiled at all the warm thoughts people expressed. I have met such an amazing group of women (and men) since I began blogging! The community of bloggers and readers that I have joined are constantly inspiring me and reminding me why I love to blog and share my story.
Some of your opinions:
-A common factor was wanting the local events/deals.
-There seemed to be an even split on the store deals I cover. I’ll post more on that when I figure it all out 🙂 I received requests for Target and Food Lion matchup links, so those will be coming soon.
-You want more recipes and freezer cooking. I started working on that here. My plan will be to add at least 1 new recipe a week. I’ll try to focus on recipes for items that you should have scored at a rock bottom price and have overflowing in your pantry.
-Organic deals and local co-ops. I’m looking for an organic blogger to hopefully link deals to. I mentioned my trip to Trader Joe’s here. Local Harvest made my head spin, but I’ll be taking another look at it.
-You all want to continue seeing my purchases. Look for a linky on Tuesday’s to checkout what other bloggers/readers are buying
-Thrifty Stores-started research and will probably set it up as a Q&A
-You want me to write more. I have a LONG list of topics, but I first need to complete my getting started series and post about my budget. Oh, and what we’re doing about an allowance for the kids. My goal (although I ‘ve been telling myself this for months) is to write a piece each week. I need a time management course 🙂
-I rearranged my sidebar, added labels for the buttons, removed some of the post labels. Hopefully it will make it easier to navigate.
*If you have any thoughts, deals or events my email is always open. Remember that I love comments and try to respond back in some way to each. I do read ALL comments, so know that I am listening.

This is quicker for me than email at the moment… but when you are thinking about a recipe for the week, try to come up with something to do with all the free pasta (wacky mac) and rice we have around these past weeks!! I'm tired of using it for pasta salad… LOL. Keep up the good work!

Dana, just wanted to plug South Mountain Creamer since you were considering posts on organic foods. They have local home delivery of milk, meats etc. They also have a store @the Va Beach Farmer's Mkt. I have been getting home delivery and frequenting their store since March/April. I have been very pleased. We are trying to eat more local (they are MD) food, organics. No coupons unfortunately but, with all my other savings, I have been able to fit some of these items w/out breaking the bank.
Thanks again for your blog. It has become my go to for Farm Fresh and CVS.

Anonymous-comments work great too. I have bags of the wacky mac and other pastas too. I'll work on recipe posts for you.
Ginger-Thanks for letting me know. I did a quick check of the site. I liked what they had to offer. Although they do seem expensive, I agree with you that saving money in other areas allows you to have more for the local/organic items you want.
Funny you mentioned Farmer Markets. I have a list of places I've noticed in the area that I wanted to do a post about a month ago. I always have good intentions.
If you love any organic bloggers please let me know.
