Kroger: Ending Double Coupons in Mid-Atlantic Region!
Well, it’s official! Beginning May 12, Kroger will no longer double coupons in the Mid-Atlantic region. All coupons will be accepted at “face value.” Sad news I know! However, Kroger states that they are ending this program to offer lower prices to all of their customers!
Here is what the sign states….. “Beginning May 12th, 2013- As part of our store wide Lower Price program, coupons will be accepted at face value, and the UVA discount will end which will allow us to offer lower prices to all customers.”

This is sad news in this day and age with gas prices so high and the price of food .. I hope Kroger keeps there promise and lowers there prices on their food..if so then I will continue to shop there for my family..if not then I will go to Walmart or Meijer..sorry

That’s sad. Depending on the prices after I will no longer shop there and go to Harris Teetor or Farm Fresh. Even with lower prices and coupons on face value we might not get good deals or free items. Lets see what happens when the change is in effect.
