Here’s a list of all the 2010 events sponsored by the Chesapeake Parks and Recreation Department with the exception of Eggstravaganza on April 3rd that was already posted. There’s not too many that I think kids would enjoy, but I’m posting something for everyone. Some of the events didn’t state a fee, so you’ll see a question mark beside those events.
Again, I just did a copy and paste of the descriptions

We went to the symphony under the stars last year. It costs to park, so we just walked from a friend's house across the tracks and it didn't cost us anything. It was a nice evening of patriotic and popular music played by the symphony orchestra. It was also very crowded and there were a lot of families who came and picnicked out. I imagine the July 3 concert is very similar.
Thanks Heather!
I added the possible parking fee at the bottom. I didn't even think about it. Some events we've been to have charged a fee to park but we just walked also.
