Did you have a problem using the new $2/1 any Tide Detergent coupon from the 10/30 P&G insert on the trial size?
I Heart the Mart has the answer to why the registers are beeping even though the product is Tide and the coupon doesn’t exclude the single packs.
According to Tides Facebook page:
The Tide single use packets are not distributed by P&G, they are “outsourced” to another company. That is why the coupon beeps, it does not recognize the manufacturer as P&G. Tide says it is up to the store to decide if they are accepting the coupon on the Tide single serve or not.
Personally, it’s not worth the hassle of arguing with my store. It’s a their discretion to accept the coupon, and I know my store won’t. I had a similar problem with the trail size Cascade.
Will you be using the coupon at Walmart on the single pack or just holding onto the coupon for a sale?
I’m hoping for a sale. It’s my favorite brand for how well it cleans and for the fresh scent.
I am hoping for a sale and for Farm Fresh to do a mega coupon event again I feel I get more for my money that way.
Me too – they won’t tell me anything yet though 🙁
