I’ve put together the insert variation document for the coupons I received. Please note that there are still insert variations even within the Hampton Roads area. My format is based on the Sunday Coupon Preview.

I live in Elizabeth City but am originally from Chesapeake, so I go there every weekend and get the Pilot (luckily my dad is subscribed so that I still get his Red Plum!!) and the Daily Advance in Elizabeth City had the coupons that weren’t in the Pilot. I will say that the Red Plum wasn’t as good, though… Actually, neither was the Smart Source. But it’s still additional coupons when you get the Pilot inserts, as well! 🙂
That is great! You can get different inserts with both papers. I’m ready for more high value coupons.
I’m new to Hampton Roads and live in North Suffolk. Do you know how to figure out what inserts are going to be in certain areas? I was hoping to get the P&G insert for a killer razor deal at Walgreen’s, instead there was one Smart Source insert and that’s it.
You should have gotten the P&G insert in your paper. Do you get the VA Pilot? I’d call them and ask about it. You should have also gotten the Pepsico (Moments to Save) insert this week as well.
As far as knowing ahead of time what inserts we’ll get, I don’t know. Inserts can vary greatly by region. I do the insert variation doc but that doesn’t go up until Monday or Tuesday.
Bought two Pilot’s and Walmart. Neither has the P & G. They had one Smart Source and the Pepsico Moments to Save. I went to the local 7-11 and it wasn’t in their paper either. I called the paper’s customer service number, but they are closed until tomorrow. I’ll call in the morning and let you know the outcome. Thanks for your help.
Please, I would be interested in what they have to say. The coupons could vary but you should get the same inserts (RedPlum is the exception as certain areas receive it in the mail instead of the paper)
