I was at the Walmart in Yorktown the other Sunday in front of me in line was two women ( clearly together) with internet printed coupons they had coupons for FREE sargento cheese, FREE frozen breaded shrimp, FREE Silk Soy Milk, etc… each of them had about 10 items and each coupon said FREE. They were not doing B1G1F just free. the cashier forced the coupons in because none would scan in. Has anyone seen these type of FREE food Coupons?? I have not been couponing that long however It just did add up from what I have seen out there in coupons. (And no it was not WIC Slips)
No! Free product coupons from companies are now being mailed. They are on paper so they could be confused with a printable but my free coupons that are mailed to me as part of promoations tend to scan. I was just reading something that it’s been since 2002 or something since companies were having free product printables.
Walmarts coupon policy states “We DO NOT accept the following coupons: Print-at-home Internet coupons that require no purchase”. Companies do NOT use printable coupons for FREE items (they do for BOGO’s). Almost all the free product coupons I have received come with a halographic strip on the back.
Thanks, Patti! I don’t have any stores that will accept a free product printables. Yes, a lot of mine free product coupons mailed have the holographic strip too. The ones that are mailed as 1 piece of special paper, I keep attached until I’m at the register, so they can see the watermarks and my mailing address.
It’s unfortunate that walmart will start getting less coupon friendly because of a couple people when they just revamped their policy
